This is a re-bid of RFB FY2025 #021 - Changes to specifications pertaining to badging requirements & background checks.

Overview: The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for a qualifed contractors to provide pest control services at DOT Weigh Scale Stations across the state.  There are approximately 11 locations that will require service.

Scope:

Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance and work capacity.

Site Visits: A pre-bid site visit is recommended but not required . To schedule a site visit, contractors must contact Julie Brown (julie.brown@iowadot.us) & Kyle Williams (kyle.williams@iowadot.us).  Please indicate which particular site you wish to visit & a preferred date and time. Contractors may visit the site by appointment only. Please provide a 24 hour notice before your requested visit date.
