Description
■ Only the following five Contractors can bid on this project as a Prime Contractor:
• Calex Engineering
• Clarke Contracting
• Jilk Heavy Construction, Inc.
• Mike Prlich & Sons, Inc.
• Mladen Buntich Construction Company

Along Nash Dr in a residential hillside area of Laurel Cyn about 0.85 miles NW of Sunset Blvd & Crescent Hts Blvd, remove a failing timber bulkhead & construct a new one to restore lateral support to the downslope side of the roadway. The new bulkhead will be approximately 55 ft long with a retained height up to about 6 ft & will consist of CIDH piles with steel wide-flange beams & concrete lagging. Also remove & re-compact about 105 LF of eroded dirt roadway to a depth of 18 in & install a new metal beam guardrail. These improvements are part of the Hillside Slope Stability (HSS) Program and are needed to prevent further erosion & maintain safe access along Nash Dr.
