FABRICATION OF WOOD PILES, MDO, AND RANGE KITS

The is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the capability and availability of small business sources to fabricate and deliver wood piles, medium density overlay (mdo) plywood and range kits. The piles, range kits and galvanized hardware will be used in the construction of, or replacement of channel range platform, used as navigational aids in support of the Aids to Navigation (ATON) mission. The attached specification and stacking diagram are attached which demonstrate the materials and materials conformance requirements for piles, mdo plywood, range kits and galvanized steel hardware.

The Government anticipates issuing a single solicitation resulting in the award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with fixed-price delivery orders. The contract will include Economic Price Adjustments for lumber and wood products, and diesel fuel.

The anticipated period of performance is for a base year and four option years with an expected start date on/or before June 2025. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 423310 – Lumber, Plywood, Millwork, and Wood Merchant Wholesalers. The Small Business Size Standard is 150 employees. A small business set-aside determination will be made based upon the results of this Sources Sought notice (i.e. if enough small business interest indicates that a set-aside for small business will result in an adequate number of responses for competition purposes).
