SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Easy setup and compatibility with a variety of targets from silicon mirrors over regular mirrors to retroreflectors

Tools to process data with advanced math and signal processing functionality

Measurement bandwidth up to tens of MHz

Measurement range up to 5 m

Required item(s) are listed below:

• Fiber-coupled, 3 independent but synchronized channel non-contact optical displacement measurement unit with multiple serial and real time digital and analog outputs, calibrated to 10^(-8) in wavelength, periodic nonlinearity of better than 5 nm


• Software package with data visualization, FFT and processing / window control, buffering, data export, data combinations / math functionality


• Environmental compensation of ambient air disturbances


• 2x Sensor read heads for in-vacuum (UHV and radiation resistant) and 2x for ambient conditions, up to 5 m target movement, measurable through a vacuum view port if desired working on targets from polished silicon, regular mirrors, and retroreflectors


• Vacuum feedthrough for 3 fibers bakeable to 150 degC

Please include in your proposals the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS Code) if applicable.

All subcontractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).

This solicitation falls under the reporting requirements of E-Verify. Within thirty (30) days of award of a Subcontract the awardee must provide proof of enrollment in the E-verify Program. If proof of enrollment is not received within the specified timeframe the subcontract may be subject to cancellation. The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. Please mark up terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.

Payment Terms will be NET-30

For Domestic Suppliers - Freight terms will be FOB Destination Prepaid and Add.

Foregin Supplier - Shipment will be made CIP SLAC, Menlo Park, and Duty Unpaid.
