Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Franklin Keywords: Engineering , Environmental Conservation Bid Description: This project proposes to improve water quality and increase flood resilience in Montgomery, VT, via floodplain lowering and buffer plantings along the confluence of Black Falls Brook and the Trout River. This project’s design includes excavation of approximately 4.5 acres, with an estimated total sediment removal of 29,000 cubic yards. Due to the project site’s proximity to Route 118 and a nearby bridge, project implementation will include road embankment stabilization, bridge scour protection, and coordination with the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans).
