Introduction:

The State of Texas, by and through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) on behalf of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Child Protective Services (CPS) program is issuingthis Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek Respondents to submit Proposals to enter into Contracts with DFPS to provide and maintain a network of ServiceProviders to provide Home Study/Assessment and Report Services in DFPS Regions 1 – 11 . Also, as requested by DFPS, the awarded Respondent(s) will provide court-related services as it relates to this RFP.

Statementof Work:

DFPS will use Home Study, Assessment, and Report Services in accordance with the specifications andrequirements provided in this RFP to make Placement decisions in the bestinterests of Children. Refer to Exhibit F, Statement of Work (SOW) .

ContractTerm:

Theinitial term of any Contract resulting from this Solicitation will be three (3)years. HHSCor DFPS , at itssole option, may extend any Contract awarded pursuant to this Solicitation forup to two (2) additional one (1) year terms.

OptionalPre-proposal Conference

HHSC PCS will hold the Pre-proposalTele conference via Microsoft Teams, on the date and time set out in Section 3.1 (Schedule of Events).

Peoplewith disabilities who wish to attend the teleconference and require auxiliaryaids or services should contact the Sole Point of Contactidentified in Section 3.3.1 (Sole Pointof Contact), at least 72 hoursbefore the meeting in order to have reasonable accommodations made by HHSC.
