The Minnesota Department of Health intends to enter into an agreement with PromoChrom Technologies Ltd., for up t o 3 months to pro vide two PromoChrom SPE-03 automated solid phase extraction system capable of extracting drinking water samples following EPA Method 533 for the analysis of PFAS compounds. The system has minimal Teflon components to prevent contamination of samples and can extract 8 samples simultaneously.
The Agency determined that PromoChrom SPE-03 automated solid phase extraction system is the only commercially reasonably available commodity product capable of meeting the technical specification that meet the laboratory’s needs. This procurement is a trade-in upgrade of two current in-use PromoChrom SPE-03 systems. Furthermore, it is solely distributed and supported by PromoChrom Technologies Ltd., who is the only distributer of these systems and is not available from other third parties.
