RFQ: Looking to hire a shelter veterinarian

Animal Services is beginning a search for a full-time shelter and community veterinarian to fill a vacancy early. The ideal candidate will bring years of shelter experience. However, all veterinarians with an interest in being part of our progressive team and who share our commitment to overcoming barriers to best serve our community of people and animals are encouraged to submit resumes to the attention of the Director of Animal Services via email .

Why Work For Animal Services?

RFQ: Per Diem Veterinary Work

Animal Services contracts with local veterinarians and veterinary technicians to augment the Shelter Medicine and Community Veterinary Unit. Such professional consultants enable Animal Services to perform daily rounds, examinations, and treatments more efficiently and to bolster pet sterilization surgeries and community vet care by distributing those duties among a larger workforce and providing coverage during employee absences, evenings and weekend hours.

Timeline

Proposals and qualifications are accepted on a rolling basis. Interested parties should submit a detailed description of the services provided, including a draft memorandum of understanding (MOU) to the attention of the Director of Animal Services at:
