Construction Term Contracts 2025-2028

State University of New York College at Cortland will receive sealed Proposals for Term Construction Contracts, Project No. 00794 until 2:00PM Local Time on February, 14, 2025. Submission of two original executed copies of the Bid Form per trade and all attachments specified in the Project Manual are required in a sealed envelope marked accordingly. Bid is for term contracts for time and material type work for the following trades:

• General Contractor for SUNY Cortland Main Campus
• General Contractor for SUNY Cortland Raquette Lake campus
• Carpentry
• Data/telecommunications
• Electrical
• Flooring
• HVAC
• Plumbing

Sealed bids shall be submitted and mailed or delivered to SUNY Cortland, Planning,
Design & Construction, Attn: Kristi Hughston, 219 Whitaker Hall Cortland, NY, 13045,
or mailed via USPS to SUNY Cortland, Attn: Kristi Hughston, PO Box 2000,
Cortland, NY 13045. Mailed bids should include time for internal campus mail delivery.

Bids will be opened publicly at Whitaker Hall, Room 201, 4 Pashley Drive, Cortland NY 13045. For each proposal submitted, the following information will be read aloud: 1) name of contractor; 2) trade for which they are bidding; and 3) The markup percentages entered on the Bid Form. SUNY Cortland will review all bids and verify accuracy of minimum qualifications and submission of all required documents. Bidders will be formally notified of the official results in writing within one week from the bid opening.

Section 143of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these
documents. Accordingly, a deposit check in the amount of $45.00, made payable
to Syracuse Blue Print Co. is required. Deposits of $50.00 or less are
non-refundable.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held January 31, 2025 at 2:00PM. with
all potential bidders assembling at SUNY Cortland, Whitaker Hall, Room 201,

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained
in the Term Contracts for Trades Information for Bidders including completed Bid Form, proof of Minimum Qualification, New York State Finance Law §§139-j and 139-k, Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women owned business enterprise and service disabled veteran owned business participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are required to make a good faith effort to meet diversity goals set forth on these contracts.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
