The purpose of this effort is to perform a geotechnical engineered investigation and certification with an engineered stamp of approval. The provider will perform the investigation in order to provide a bearing capacity, soil classification, seismic design parameters, recommended road or pad section (if pavements/roads are needed). More specifically, there is a site on Hill AFB, UT that must be investigated for its ability to support a load of 29 psi plus a local bearing load (compressive stress) of 75 psi. This procurement will be done to support future radar usage and, in this case, to support the Transceive Group (TG) plus transport vehicle weight.
