The Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority (the “Authority”) is a quasi-public state authority created in 1982 to help students and their families finance the cost of higher education. In accordance with the requirements in Connecticut General Statutes, Chapter 187, Section 10a-179h (4), the Authority is requesting proposals from qualified firms wishing to provide underwriting services to the Authority for a period not to exceed three (3) years. The decisions regarding all appointments will be solely at the Authority’s discretion. The Authority seeks proposals from firms with established expertise in the area of tax-exempt municipal finance generally &/or specifically student loan financings. Proposals should highlight the recent experience of your firm in transactions involving the issuance of tax-exempt bonds to fund student loan programs of quasi-public agencies similar to the Authority.
