The City of Framingham (‘City), acting through the Mayor, the Awarding Authority invites sealed bids from qualified contractors to complete the scope of work contained herein and generally referred to as IFB #8836 Memorial Building Roof Replacement.
The Project includes but is not limited to: Stripping of the East or Union, West or Concord and South or Memorial Hall roofs and replacement with new PVC roofs, raising the skylights, new insulation including replacement of wet/damaged roof insulation, roof drains, etc. as shown on the drawings including the Alternate.
DCAMM Certification is required to bid on this project;
General Bid certification category is Roofing
In order to be eligible and responsible to bid on this project, Bidders certified in Roofing shall submit with their bid a current Certificated of Eligibility for Roofing issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, DCAMM (formerly the Division of Capital Planning and Operations, DCPO), together with an Update Statement.

***A Non Mandatory Pre-Bid site visit will be held on Monday September 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Memorial Hall Building, Framingham, MA 150 Concord Street (Bidders to meet in Memorial Hall off Main Stairs from Concord Street)
Bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Bidnet system. Bids submitted through any other means, such as mail, email or hand delivery, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the City as non-responsive.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all submissions, to waive any minor informalities & technicalities, or to cancel the bid if it were in the public interest to do so.
