Due to intense precipitation events over several years, Wanuskewin Heritage Park’s Nature Trail system has experienced significant damage arising from erosion which may pose risks to public safety through tripping hazards/loose/uneven surfaces and risks to adjacent wildlife habitat through introduction of foreign materials. Wanuskewin Heritage Park Authority is seeking proposals from interested bidders focused on an assessment of current conditions, development of erosion-mitigation strategies that reduce the extent/significance of erosional damage, a cost estimate of required repairs to return trails to functional and safe conditions, a phasing strategy for implementation of eventual repairs, and the development of tender-ready documentation regarding required repairs.
