2025 Pipe & Fittings Bid

CITY OF LANCASTER-DIVISION OF WATER BID REQUEST

SEALED BIDS will be received until 11:00 A.M. on May 22, 2025. by the Service-Safety Director for the CITY OF LANCASTER, OHIO for the purchase of Pipe and Fittings described in the attached SPECIFICATIONS for use by the City of Lancaster, Ohio - Division of Water. Price quote should be based on delivery to 225 N. Memorial Drive, Lancaster, Ohio 43130-4441. All bids must be mailed to: SERVICE-SAFETY DIRECTOR, 104 E. MAIN STREET, LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. All bids must be sealed and conspicuously marked Pipe & Fitting BID on the OUTSIDE of the envelope.

Bids shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bid Bond in the sum of 5% of the Total Bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into.

PERFORMANCE BOND:

A performance bond must be furnished by the bidder that is awarded the contract for the full amount of the contract to guarantee faithful performance of the contract.

AWARD OF CONTRACT:

The Service-Safety Director reserves the right to reject any and all bids regardless of price. The bid price shall not alone be considered in determining the best bid, but the merits of the merchandise, the delivery time, and the bid price shall all be considered as determining factors.
