NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Censis Technologies, Inc., 4031 Aspen Grove Dr., STE 350, Franklin, TN 37064 under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), "Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized."

The proposed procurement is for The requested service for Censis CensiTrac Surgical Instrument Tracking System includes:
1. Annual Subscription for CensiTrac Tracking System
2. Telephone Support
3. Software Upgrades
4. Cloud Storage
Currently the equipment is already installed and in use. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519 Other Computer Related Services.
This requirement is to support the following VA Medical Centers:
Buffalo VA Medical Center, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215
Canandaigua VA Medical Center, 400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424
Rochester Outpatient Clinic, 260 Calkins Road, Rochester, NY 14623
Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210

Censis Technologies, Inc., is the only known provider as Censis Technologies, Inc. proprietary Trade Secret products and services are Registered with the United States Patent and Trade Office

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by April 17, 2025 10:00 a.m. (EST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Kimberly.wiatrowski@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
