THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.
This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.Â
The VHA Network Contracting Office 5 (NCO 5) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, coordination, and services necessary for construction of a new boiler plant on the campus at the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Due to the significant grade change on the proposed construction site, major site phasing will be required.

The proposed NAICS 236220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors is applicable to this acquisition: with a size standard of $45 Million.Â
The anticipated Magnitude of Construction is between $50,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00.
Small Business Requirements
For market research purposes, all responses to this notice will be reviewed, regardless of small business/socioeconomic category, including those firms that are identified as large businesses. Review of responses to this notice will support later determination of acquisition strategy and set-aside requirements if a solicitation becomes available.

However, if responses from qualified firms prove inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be considered.Â
