The City of Pasadena, CA, is seeking information regarding the availability of a lease engine for a GE LM6000 PC for planned or emergency utility needs for a period of two (2) years starting October 2025.
Background
Pasadena Water and Power’s (PWP) Glenarm Power Plant has two natural gas-fired combustion turbine units (GTs), GT-3, and GT-4 that are simple cycle units. GT-3 and GT-4 are GE LM6000 simple cycle gas turbines with a capacity of 47 MW each. These units are mainly used to provide power generation during peak periods.
