Battery Park City North Grid Electrical Upgrades Design Services

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid :

In furtherance of the North Grid Electrical Upgrades Design Services Project, BPCA hereby requests proposals (individually, a “Proposal” and collectively, the “Proposals”) from electrical design firms (individually, a “Proposer” and collectively, the “Proposers”) to provide BPCA with electrical design-related services for BPCA’s north electric grid, the geographic extent for which is:

a) Chambers Street and Warren Street from River Terrace to West Street;

b) North End Avenue from Chambers Street to Murray Street; and,

c) River Terrace from Irish Hunger Memorial to Chambers Street (collectively, the “Project Site”).

The services shall include, but not be limited to: (1) conducting of research and preparation of repair recommendations; (2) development of design and construction documents, and preparation of final drawings and specifications; (3) preparation of construction cost estimates; (4) filing of construction permitting documentation; (5) construction contractor bid support; (6) construction administration services; and (7) Project close-out services (collectively, the “Services”).

As stated in the RFP, firms interested in responding to the RFP must complete the Mandatory Forms Packet located on BPCA’s website at https://bpca.ny.gov/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Mandatory-Forms.pdf . The completed forms must accompany the firm’s proposal.
