Description
Sole Source
HL7 is the only SDO that can ballot and publish a FHIR standard. To address evolving needs in health IT, ASTP launched the USCDI+ initiative, aimed at extending the existing USCDI framework to support domain-specific datasets for federal programs. Through the USCDI+ initiative, ASTP has partnered with CMS to transition the healthcare ecosystem to digital quality measurement via HL7 FHIR in a standardized way, reducing burden for the quality reporting community.
