The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Boulder Campus, anticipates a requirement for interior renovations in Building 51 consisting of approximately 1,500 square feet of flooring replacement and 1,500 square feet of interior wall painting.
The project scope includes removal and replacement of existing carpet tile, VCT, cove base, and transition strips; installation of new ESD VCT in designated restrooms; installation of carpet tile in office and common areas; installation of new cove base and thresholds; and preparation and painting of interior corridor walls, door frames, and designated safety markings. Work also includes substrate preparation, wall patching and surface preparation, furniture and equipment relocation (including security equipment), and daily cleanup.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, construction management, and safety-related equipment necessary to complete the work. Night and weekend work will be required to avoid disruption to building security operations. The contractor must submit and obtain approval of required deliverables including a site-specific Safety Plan, project schedule, product specifications, and an emergency egress plan.
Work will be performed at the NIST Boulder Campus, 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO. The anticipated period of performance is four (4) months from date of award.
