The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed-price, non-personal services contract for repair and maintenance of Government owned surgical instruments for Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii. This requirement is for a one (1) year base period from 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2025 and four (4) one-year option periods. The clause at FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services will be incorporated into the contract. The contractor shall provide include all labor, parts, material and travel, to repair and /or maintain the Government owned surgical instruments, in a fully functional condition in accordance with (IAW) Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications. Services shall include sharpening, adjusting, polishing, cleaning, removing rust, spots, and stains, realignment and replacement of parts that are lost, worn, or broken to like–new condition on Government-owned general and specialized surgical instruments for Sterile Processing Department (SPD), Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii.
The proposed acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 811210 and the annual size standard is $34M. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) registry with NAICS Code 811210 prior to award. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled. The Contracting Officer is Mr. Tae H.
