BUILDING RAMP AND PARKING LOT REPAVING PROJECT
CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of improvements at the American Legion Post 927 located at 646 Fairgrounds Road, Gilbert, PA will be received online via the PennBid Program, by Chestnuthill Township, until 3 PM local time on February 25, 2026, when Bids will be opened and publicly available on Pennbid.
The opened bids will be considered and possibly awarded by the Township Board of Supervisors at its regular meeting scheduled for March 3, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building, 271 PA-715, Brodheadsville, PA 18322.
The Project consists of the Construction of a new building entrance including concrete landings, stairs and ramps, construction of a new building exit and other building improvements. Work also includes repaving a parking lot with some base repair, installing pavement markings and installing a pole mounted light.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated on the Bid Form.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project on Thursday, January 22, 2025 at 11 AM at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building located at 271 PA-715, with a site visit to follow.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage
Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex.
Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
