Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) ECP-I-EMALS-0104 EMALS Electrical Isolation (EI)

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Cost-Plus-Incentive Fee (CPIF) order (N0001925F0170) under existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) (N0001921G0014). This order is for non-recurring engineering, to include studies and assessments, detailed system design and development efforts, production of prototype test articles, testing and development of all supporting technical and logistical documentation, for an electromagnetic aircraft launch system electrical isolation solution in support of the Ford Class Carriers. Work will be performed in San Diego, California (92.4%); Tupelo, Mississippi (4.3%); and Lakehurst, New Jersey (3.3%) and is expected to be completed in January 2029.
