COMMERCIAL REDEVELOPMENT. The City of East Grand Forks invites qualified developers to submit proposals and design concepts for the redevelopment of the former Simplot property, centrally located in East Grand Forks. The development opportunity encompasses 10.63 acres of C-1 mixed use commercial land on US Hwy-2 access. Respondents are encouraged to propose concepts that demonstrate strong design quality, financial feasibility, sustainability, and compatibility with the community’s long-term vision. The RFP opens July 1, 2026, with proposals due by August 31, 2026 at 3 p.m. CST.
