The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver a Texas-T Guardrail System including two (2) boxing gloves. This is to include all hardware needed to install guardrail, (bolts, washers, nuts, splice plates), (3 inch sleeves with bolts, washers and nuts to attach guardrail to post), etc. Splice plate should have 8 - 5/8' nuts tack welded to a bent sheet metal positioner as shown in detail. (Galvanized). In accordance with the attached drawings and specifications as described herein.
