THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice is issued for market research to identify qualified contractors capable of providing a minimum of one (1) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) technician to support the Air Force Repair Enhancement Program (AFREP) at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. This is not a solicitation or request for proposals.
355 CONS is seeking qualified sources capable of providing at least 1 FTE AFREP Aircraft / Drone Technician, performing full-time, on-site technical support to augment organic AFREP capability. The contractor will support increased mission workload and ensure continuity of operations. This position is 100% on-site at Davis Monthan AFB. Dates listed in this RFI are subject to change and are provided for reference only. This requirement will be fulfilled through an IDIQ contract, so actual timing will depend on current needs and the issuance of written task orders.
Scope of Work:
-- The contractor shall provide one full-time technician (minimum 1 FTE) to: Perform hands-on technical tasks on aircraft and unmanned aerial system (UAS) components. Conduct troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional testing of avionics, electronics, and mechanical subsystems. Follow approved technical data, Air Force instructions, and workmanship standards. Use government-provided tools, equipment, and technical publications. Comply with all safety, security, and quality assurance requirements. Operate under Government direction and Quality Assurance (QA) oversight. Contractor personnel shall NOT: Supervise Government personnel. Approve maintenance actions or certify airworthiness. Perform inherently governmental functions. Make independent determinations regarding aircraft release or safety-of-flight.

-- Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona Performance is full-time, on-site, supporting daily AFREP operations.

Anticipated Contract Structure:
-- The Government anticipates awarding an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support AFREP operations at Davis Monthan AFB. Task Orders issued under the IDIQ will require a minimum staffing level of one (1) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) technician on-site. The IDIQ structure will allow the Government to adjust workload requirements, issue additional task orders as mission needs evolve, and maintain continuity of operations over the contract period.
