The Air Force Civil Engineer Center/Readiness and Training Division has a requirement to provide training for heavy equipment operations and pavement repairs for Air Force Civil Engineers. The purpose of this procurement is to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of Pavements and Construction Equipment (AFSC 3E2X1) military personnel and Federal civilian employees on heavy equipment operations and asphalt paving.
Air Force Pavements and Construction Equipment military personnel and Federal civilian employees are responsible for constructing and maintaining concrete and asphalt airfields, parking areas, and roads along with other critical infrastructure across operational locations worldwide. The intended training objectives to be purchased will provide Pavements and Construction Equipment Operators exposure and relevant hands-on experience on asphalt pavers, excavators and graders to support the individual’s Continuum of Learning and base operations. The contractor shall provide courses and training certificates in accordance with the Statement of Work
