AWARD NOTICE for SSD Disintegrator

This action is for the procurement of a brand name Solid-State Disintegrator from Data Security, Inc. (DSI) that will be purchased on a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order.

The disintegrator was to be to be compact fitting a 30”W x 45”L footprint; limited to a one phase, 200-240 volts, and 6 amps power configuration; and a three-stage air filtration system. DSI is a trusted industry source for solid-state disintegrators. The disintegrator had to be approved by the NSA Eval Prod List (EPL) evaluated and approved by the National Security Agency for the physical destruction of solid-state media, such as SIM cards, flash drives, solid state drives, circuit boards, smart phones and tablets and optical media, such as CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray to 2mm particle size. This acquisition was for a commercially available item.

RFQ was posted as a Total (100%) small business set-aside.

RFQ1782659 was posted to GSA Ebuy on 9/15/25 with an ultimate close date on 9/18/25. There were 18 quotes received with an awardee being selected according to the evaluation criteria.
