Clear Hills County is seeking request for tender for the pickup and recycling of metal from the nine (9) Clear Hills County Transfer Stations for a five (5) year term:
• Bear Canyon: NW 15-84-12-W6M
• Clear Prairie: NE 24-87-10-W6M
• Cleardale: SE 13-85-10-W6M
• David Thompson: SW 12-84-3-W6M
• Eureka River: SW 17-86-5-W6M
• Hines Creek: SE 12-84-5-W6M
• Royce: SE 11-83-6-W6M
• Whitelaw: SW 12-84-2-W6M
• Worsley: SE 25-87-8-W6M

Bidders Responsibilities:
• Removal of all metal from the nine (9) Transfer Stations within Clear Hills County a minimum of once a year, within thirty (30) days of notification.
• Provide all required equipment and materials to repair, clean and level the site to a driveable condition after the removal is complete, if required. The use of an industrial magnet is required.
• Remove rims off of tires, if required.
• Contact the Transfer Station Contractor to schedule access to the Transfer Stations.
• Valid insurance and WCB coverage.
• All loads and/or weights are to be identified by site location and be paid to the County by the Bidder within thirty (30) days of completion. A copy of all load tickets is to be submitted with payment.
Bidders are required to provide:
• Proof of valid insurance
• Alberta WCB clearance
• References
Contract term: Starting May 1, 2026 and ending April 31, 2031.

Tender Opening: March 10, 2026 at 9:35 a.m.
Please note that Clear Hills County does not recommend sending RFT by Courier due to the limited services in this area.
