Project Description: The work generally includes the following:
1. Solids Processing Center (Building 72): Replacement of existing dewatering belt filter presses with new dewatering screw presses. Modification of sludge feed piping, W3 water piping, polymer piping, and odor control ducting. Installation of personnel access grating and platforms, a new monorail system, and ancillary equipment.
2. Solids Processing Center (Building 72): Installation of exterior stairs and entrance to upper level of facility.
3. Digester/BFP Feed Control Building (Building 77): Replacement of BFP Feed Pumps with new Screw Press Feed Pumps.
4. Temporary Systems: Installation and relocation of temporary dewatering screw press during the replacement of dewatering system.
5. Installation of new level sensors for the Biosolids Blend Tank (Facility 76) and Sludge Blend Tank (Facility 74).
The engineer's estimate for this project is $7,700,000.
