Sealed bids for the construction of a turn lane improvement project in Alabaster, AL will be received by the Alabaster City Clerk, 1953 Municipal Way, Alabaster, AL 35007 until Thursday November 14, 2024 at 10 am. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. No bids shall be accepted after this time.
The project will consist of removals, pavement widening, sidewalks, driveways, pipe & drainage, striping, and associated items. The engineer’s estimated cost is $2.5M. The plans & bid package may be obtained by emailing your request to Matt Stoops, PE at

All bidders must be licensed by the State of Alabama Licensing Board of General Contractors, as required by Chap 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. A bid bond is required.
The City of Alabaster reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process. The City reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of 60 days after receiving the bids until notice of award.
