Anticipated Bid Opening: September 9, 2025

We now post bid opportunities on Public Purchase, a web based eProcurement service. As new bid solicitations are posted, this eProcurement system provides an automatic notification to registered vendors/contractors. This service is provided at no charge. Plans and specifications are also on file in the office of the City Finance Officer and may be obtained at the Engineering Services Office, 300 Sixth Street, Rapid City, South Dakota.

To view a solicitation on Public Purchase, you must be registered. Once you are registered, click on the appropriate listing and you will be able to view the specifications and any applicable documents. If preferred, we do provide one hard copy of plans and specifications to interested vendors/contractors, which is available upon request.

This eProcurement system will create a single location to view current bid opportunities and award information for previous bids issued through the Public Purchase website. This system will also provide you with automatic notification of bid solicitations to vendors. In addition, Public Purchase gives you access to bid opportunities with other government entities. All of this is provided at no charge to you.

If you have need any assistance with the registration process, please contact Public Purchase at support@publicpurchase.com . Or use their Live Chat during business hours, which can be found in the upper left corner of the web site. Please contact the City of Rapid City (605-394-4154) with additional questions or for questions regarding a bid.
