This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your quotes will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about July 10, 2026, posted to SAM.gov website. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued.

The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin, Yuma Area Office, has a requirement for the purchase of 292 Pressure Vessels and required equipment for the Yuma Desalting Plant.

This requirement is anticipated to be issued unrestricted.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 333310, Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, with a corresponding small business size standard of 1,000 employees.

The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract.

The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through Contract Opportunities at www.SAM.gov. All quotes, and other documents required for the request for quote, including amendments to the quote, shall be submitted electronically. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted.

Registrations: In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, at time of quote submittal and have completed Online Representations and Certifications.
