This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks qualified non-profit developers to design, develop, and construct a tiny home village in Orange City, Florida. The project aims to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for veterans, seniors, and workforce housing populations through the development of a sustainable, community-oriented tiny home village.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The project will create a tiny home village offering homeownership opportunities for qualified individuals focusing on those at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). The development will include a minimum of 20 tiny home units on approximately 6.7 acres of donated property, with space dedicated for a future community park. The project will serve the following target populations: Veterans; seniors; and, workforce housing candidates.

AVAILABLE FUNDING
HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds in the estimated amount of $800,000 is available for the development of units serving households at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). The maximum subsidy per HOME unit is $75,000.
