2026 Remington Ave Streetscape Phase 2

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Go to GPR Supporting Documents or thomasville.org/departments/purchasing for the complete & unabbreviated Invitation to Bid. This is an abbreviated version. Sealed bids for the City of Thomasville's 2026 REMINGTON AVENUE STREET SCAPE PHASE 2 project will be received until 10:00 AM local time on October 14, 2025 at the Office of the City Engineer, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 for public opening. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. The Prime must be licensed contractor in the State of Georgia, and the sub-contractors must be licensed in the State of Georgia and follow and comply with the Rules and Regulations of the State of Georgia. The work primarily includes five foot wide sidewalk from Schley Street to East Pinetree Boulevard; replacing the existing driveways with concrete driveways; at several locations, storm water drainage will be added to provide conveyance beneath the sidewalk; and all disturbed areas will be replaced with new sod. A complete set of plans, specs, & bid documents may be viewed at the City Engineer¿s Office (see address above) and obtained by emailing a request to Engineering.bids@thomasville.org. Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as purchasing & receiving complete Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the Contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bond each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked ¿2026 REMINGTON AVENUE STREET SCAPE PHASE 2¿ & must be delivered before the time specified.
