Janitorial and Custodial Cleaning Services
1. PURPOSE
The Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified suppliers to provide janitorial and custodial cleaning services for the following office facility:
Alabama Board of Nursing – Clanton Office
206 Medical Center Drive
Clanton, Alabama 35045
Approximate Square Footage: 3,500 square feet
The successful supplier shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies necessary to maintain the facility in a clean, sanitary, and professional condition. The ABN will provide trash liners, paper towels, toilet tissue, and hand soap.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES
The contractor shall provide janitorial and custodial services including, but not limited to, the following:
General Office Areas Restrooms (Two) Kitchen (One) Conference Rooms and Common Areas 3. SERVICE SCHEDULE
Services shall be performed: The contractor shall provide sufficient staffing to ensure all services are completed during scheduled cleaning periods. 4. SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT
The contractor shall furnish all: All cleaning products shall comply with OSHA requirements and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. 5. TERM
Initial Contract Term
July 2026 through September 2026 (Three-Month Term)
The Alabama Board of Nursing anticipates rebidding janitorial services for Fiscal Year 2027 during September 2026.
Anticipated Future Contract Period
October 2026 through September 2027
Termination of Services During Contract Term
The Alabama Board of Nursing reserves the right to terminate services during the term of the contract for: Whenever feasible, a sixty (60) day written notice will be provided prior to termination. 6. SUPPLIER REQUIREMENTS
Suppliers must: The contractor shall ensure that personnel assigned to the Alabama Board of Nursing facility have not been convicted of offenses that would, in the sole judgment of the Alabama Board of Nursing, present a risk to the security of the facility, employees, records, or property, including but not limited to certain criminal history involving misdemeanors and/or felonies.
The Alabama Board of Nursing reserves the right to verify qualifications, references, licensing, insurance coverage, bonding, and employee background information prior to award or during the contract term.
Contractor’s employees who will provide services pursuant to the contract will be required to sign an Alabama Board of Nursing Confidentiality Agreement prior to being granted access to the facility. 7. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Bid responses shall include:

1. Company name, address, and contact information
2. Pricing proposal identifying total weekly cost
3. Proof of insurance coverage
4. Description of company experience and qualifications
5. Staffing plan
6. Proposed service schedule
7. Documentation demonstrating compliance with Supplier Qualification requirements
8. At least three (3) references for similar services

Incomplete submissions may be deemed non-responsive. 8. EVALUATION CRITERIA
Bids may be evaluated based upon: The Alabama Board of Nursing reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award in the best interest of the agency. 9. SITE VISIT
A mandatory site visit will be held as follows:

Attendance by a company representative is required in order to submit a bid. Representatives attending the site visit must sign the official attendance sheet at the time of the visit. Failure to attend the site visit and sign the attendance sheet may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive and ineligible for consideration. 10. SUBMISSION DEADLINE

Service by Quantity. Pricing should be entered as Amount per Cleaning.
