Project Description: The City of Dallas (the “City”) is soliciting proposals to establish a professional services contract for a comprehensive fee study for Building Inspection [Chapter 52 of the Dallas city code] and Current Planning [Chapter 51a of the Dallas city code] fee schedules to be utilized by the Planning and Development Department. The intent of this solicitation is to select a qualified firm with demonstrated experience in municipal fee studies, cost of service analysis, and public sector financial consulting. The selected Contractor will evaluate existing fees, analyze cost recovery, and provide recommendations for equitable, transparent, and defensible fee structures aligned with the City’s service delivery model and policy objectives. Not to Exceed master agreement for comprehensive fee studies for Building Inspection to be utilized by the Planning and Development Department. Services will be ordered on an as-needed basis and are subject to availability of funds, but the total cost of all orders shall not exceed the authorized contract amount.
