Notice of Intent to Award a Contract
Notice is hereby given that the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Tetra Tech Canada Inc (the “Service Provider”) for the following:

Hatzic Slough - Ridgedale Watermain Protection Regulatory Liaison & Post-Construction Habitat Monitoring
Background
-
Emergency repairs were completed to reinstate cover over the Hatzic Slough to Ridgedale water supply main, and there are requirements in the regulatory approvals for post construction monitoring.
Scope of Services or Specifications
The scope includes:

Regulatory Permitting Liaison; and
-
Post-Construction Habitat Monitoring
Rationale for Contemplating a Direct Award
The City is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons:
-
With the objectives of public security and safety and the protection of human, animal and plant life and health, it is important that the provision of services be expedited as delays increases risk of safety and health.

Requirements to meet the conditions and timelines of the regulatory approvals.
Contract Value:
The value of the contract is expected not to exceed
$110,000.00
CAD
plus applicable taxes.
