RFP Secondary #CV25-107 - California Service Corps Swearing In Ceremony

The State seeks a qualified Contractor with event experience, that can quickly assume responsibility for planning and executing a high-profile, Sacramento-based Swearing-in Ceremony for California Service Corps members. California Volunteers anticipates hosting one in-person event in Sacramento in early October for up to 600 individuals, including state government officials. The Proposer must procure cost-effective transportation for approximately 300 service members in the greater Sacramento Region to and from the event location.

The award amount is up to $350,000. Please note a minimum of 3% participation by a Disabled Veteran Business-Owned Enterprise (DVBE) and 25% participation by a Small Business is required to submit a proposal.

Addendum 1 (3/16/2026): Food and drinks are allowed for this event as it'll be over 5 to 6 hours
and attendees are expected to stay on premise for the entire duration of the event. Page 22 of
Attachment 2 Notice to Bidders previously mentioned food or drinks was not allowed for events.

Addendum 3 (4/28/2026): Due to recent changes in our funding allocations, the available amount for this solicitation has been reduced. This adjustment ensures alignment with current financial constraints. The Scope of Work in Attachment 3 has been reduced as well because of this.

All proposals previously submitted before or on April 17, 2026 is now invalid. All proposers must now submit a new proposal due to the reduction in the Scope of Work and reduction in the award amount. The new deadline to submit a proposal is now before May 14, 2026 at 4:00:00 PM PDT.
