INVITATION FOR BIDS
Project Name: Ballantrae Park - Spray Ground Renovations
Bid Express Project No. 2026-008
The City of Dublin, Ohio will receive electronic bids from a licensed and qualified Contractor. The bid
shall include all materials and labor necessary for spray ground renovations to Ballantrae Park to include
water features, sculpted concrete wall, lighting, and plaza area due to the general wear and tear
experienced over the years. The renovation will improve safety and remedy the persistent issue of
water leakages that have been affecting the operation of the water features. as indicated in the ("Bid
Documents").
Project Scope: Project includes updating the spray nozzles, updating the water flow control systems,
lighting, and equipment as necessary to ensure the water features continue to function efficiently and
effectively. The project will also install centralized drains to eliminate the current drainage trenches
and caps covering the water return troughs, aiming to enhance maintenance access and improve
aesthetics. These updates will be strategically placed to avoid obstructing the view corridor to the
public art and water features, thereby preserving the visual integrity of the park. The renovations are
designed to ensure the safety and operational longevity of the water features.
Bids shall be received by the City of Dublin via the Bid Express (R) service at
www.bidexpress.com until 10:00 A.M. local time on Monday, November 2, 2026. Bid
documents will not be available until 8:00 A.M. on Monday, October 12, 2026.

attachments, you will immediately become a plan holder. This ensures you receive addendums that
may be issued.
As a bidder, you must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation you intend to bid electronically
on before bidding. Note: Navigation of the Bid Express service is FREE unless you select a solicitation
for bidding and complete your purchase.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54
of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or
corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
To submit Bid Bonds electronically, please ensure your company and your bonding agent's company
register with one of the following Bid Bond agencies affiliated with the Bid Express service:

Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons
interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and
complexity.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio
products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing
Wages is required for this Project.
The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or
irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion,
offers the lowest and best bid.
Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated
against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Construction completion by May 14, 2027.
