RFA Co-Responder Program

The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) is seeking to have spent ammunition recovered from the backstop berms at its weapons training ranges. With facilities located at the East Canon City Prison Complex (ECCPC) in Canon City, CO; the Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility (AVCF) in Crowley, CO; the Limon Correctional Facility (LCF) in Limon, CO; the Buena Vista Correctional Center (BVCC) in Buena Vista, CO; the Delta Correctional Center (DCC) in Delta, CO; and the Sterling Correctional Facility (SCF) in Sterling, CO, the CDOC Statewide Weapons Range Maintenance project consists of earthwork, selective demolition, and weapons range lead ammunition recovery, separation, processing, storage and transportation for recycling and/or disposal in an approved landfill.
