Solicitation Summary
The purpose of this PWS is to establish a high-fidelity network visibility layer. This infrastructure will provide 100% visibility into all raw network traffic, including encrypted and high-speed data streams, without impacting the performance or security of the production environment. Background Current monitoring relies on "SPAN" or "Mirror" ports, which are software-dependent and prone to dropping packets during high traffic periods. To support the University’s cybersecurity mandates (such as NDR and Forensic Analysis), the institution requires a dedicated, passive hardware layer to ensure that no data is missed, altered, or delayed before reaching security tools.
