15500-1 - 2026 Sludge Hauling Contract

Project Description: Hauling and disposal of approximately 70,000 gallons per year of liquid sludge generated from two Wrightstown Township wastewater treatment plants: Matthew’s Ridge and Jane Chapman Corners. The solids content of the liquid sludge is within an approximate range of 1.0% to 2.5% solids.
Eligible firms are invited to bid on sludge hauling and disposal for either or both of the plants as well as on wastewater hauling (with same basic requirements as outlined above). Bids shall include all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, permits, facilities and appurtenances necessary to appropriately, under federal and state regulations, haul, use, process and/or dispose of sludge.
The base contract length is two (2) years with an option to extend for an additional year on mutually acceptable terms. The Township is also accepting bids for a five (5)-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year on mutually acceptable terms.
