Pierce County Parks and Recreation seeks the services of qualified general contractors with expertise in all phases of site construction as required to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, superintendents, subcontractor coordination and overhead to perform a variety of construction projects on Pierce County Parks properties and on trails managed by the Parks department on County Right of Way or easements, throughout Pierce County.
This includes the construction of new improvements on developed and undeveloped properties. It also includes existing facilities needing repairs or modifications that will require the services of a full-service General Contractor that has the capability to perform these various modifications, turn-key if required.
The scope of services for General Earthwork and Paving Services will include, but not be limited to the following work: clearing and grubbing, site demolition, utility work, grading, drainage, concrete paving, cast-in-place concrete, asphalt paving, aggregate paving, pavement striping, and stormwater systems.
