LEGAL NOTICE
PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE
Rutherford County Government and Board of Education, invites all qualified, licensed organizations to submit proposals for the Property & Casualty insurance products for Rutherford County Government and Board of Education. All Companies must demonstrate integrated and seamless administration between offerings. RFP specifications must be strictly followed. Rutherford County Government and Board of Education has awarded CCMSI as Broker of Record by way of previous RFP. No other Broker has the right or authority to tie up any markets or approach any insurance companies on behalf of Rutherford County. The RFP specifications will be released on February 9, 2026, on behalf of the Rutherford County Insurance & Risk Management department. All qualified parties must send an email on or after February 9, 2026, to JCook@ccmsi.com to request the RFP documents. No requests will be acknowledged before February 9, 2026. The winning Companies will be supplying coverage for the 2026-2027 policy year. We are also entertaining multi-year (2 or 3 Years) options.
Sealed proposals must be received NO LATER THAN 4:00 pm CDT on April 14th, 2026, at the Historic Rutherford County Courthouse, One Public Square, Room 101, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Proposals received after such time will be rejected. Proposals will be opened at 4:30 pm CDT on April 14th, 2026, in Suite 205 of the Historic Rutherford County Courthouse by the Rutherford County Purchasing Committee. The effective date for all lines of coverage will be July 1, 2026. For all questions regarding the RFP process, please submit in writing to JCook@ccmsi.com after the RFP has been released. No questions about this RFP will be answered before the RFP release.
The Rutherford County Purchasing Committee reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, when it is determined to be in the best interest of the County.
