Hazardous Material Assessment Services - Consulting
Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is requesting Proposals from qualified Hazardous Material Consulting Firms
to perform detailed building assessments to identify, quantify and provide reporting for all asbestos
containing materials (ACM) within twenty-five (25) buildings. The buildings selected may contain asbestos
due to the construction materials used in the years they were built.
The intent of the detailed reports is to provide a tool for site-based staff, maintenance staff, and
contractors to know which items are ACM and not to disturb them. As well, to target future abatement
work and assist with future project planning.
