INVITATION TO BID
GEORGE W. HILL CORRECTIONAL FACILITY - UST REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT (eDPW-062426)
The County of Delaware, Pennsylvania (the "County") soliciting bid for GEORGE W. HILL
CORRECTIONAL FACILITY - UST REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT (eDPW-062426) for the
coordinated removal of an existing storage tank and the installation of a new 1,000-gallon
gasoline underground storage tank system, including associated dispensing equipment. Work
includes upgrades to the existing fuel facility such as surface preparation and painting, lighting,
signage, and bollards, as well as improvements to the concrete equipment pad and associated
asphalt restoration in surrounding areas.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 @ 11:00 AM starting at
the Visitor's Parking lot of George W. Hill Correctional Facility located on 500 Cheyney Road,
Thornton, PA 19373.
ITB responses will be received virtually via PennBid (pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by the
Department of Central Purchasing on June 24, 2026 @ 11:00 a.m. at which time responses will
be opened and read aloud for the County. Detailed Invitation to Bid documents are located on
the PennBid (pennbid.bonfirehub.com) link which can be reviewed and/or downloaded.
Unless otherwise provided, in any supplement to these instructions to respondent, no
respondent shall modify, withdraw, or cancel the proposal or any part thereof for sixty (60)
days after the time designated for the receipt of bid in the advertisement or Invitation to Bid.
