Grace Miller Elementary School Safe Routes to School Sidewalk Project

The purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids from qualified Contractors to

provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services, permits, and incidentals required to perform all

requirements as specified herein, and indicated for the purpose of construction of a sidewalk, signal

improvements, and associated road work located at Grace Miller Elementary School and Liberty High School

as indicated in drawings provided. All requirements shall be provided in accordance with this IFB and the Project

Plan Set. This project includes Federal Transportation Alternatives Funds administered by the Virginia

Department of Transportation (VDOT). This solicitation is issued by the Fauquier County Procurement Division

on behalf of the Fauquier County General Services Department, herein referred to for convenience as “Owner.”

VDOT and Fauquier County Board of Supervisors’ approval is required for the award of a contract resulting

from this solicitation.
