2 . SCOPE OF WORK

A s urvey map for the third floor o f the C TE B uilding o f Asheville H igh School is added as Exhibit B to this

solicitation.

Scope of work applies to the following rooms: 6 00, 6 01, 6 02, 6 03, 6 04, 605, 606, 611, a nd h allway areas

indicated on the Exhibit B map.

4 . EXPERIENCE WITH SIMILAR PROJECTS

T he requirements and specifications include the following:

Experience: Contractor must have at least three (3) years’ commercial or residential flooring projects.

R eferences: At least three (3) references for similar projects.

5 . TIMELINE

Work shall start on or approximately July 1, 2026 and shall be completed no later than August 10, 2026.

6. CONDITIONS

E ach Proposer s hall fully a cquaint itself with conditions relating to the s cope and restrictions attending the

e xecution of the w ork u nder Contract. P roposers shall thoroughly e xamine and be familiar w ith the

Specifications.

It is also expected that the P roposers will o btain information concerning the c onditions atlocationsthatmay

C ost information shall not be deemed confidential. In s pite o f what is labeled a s a trade s ecret, the

determination whether it is or not will be determined by North Carolina law.

9 . HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESSES

Pursuant to G eneral Statute 143-48 Executive Order #150, Asheville C ity S chools invites a nd encourages

participation in this p rocurement p rocess by b usinesses o wned by minorities, w omen, disabled, disabled

b usiness enterprises and non-profit work centers for the blind and severely disabled.
