Description

This posted announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207.



The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Requirements type contract (FAR Subpart 16.503) for the acquisition of Interior Paint and Flooring Repair and Installation of new rubber tile for Bldg #622 supporting Sustainment, Restoration, and Maintenance (SRM) at Presidio of Monterey, California. Typical work includes, but not limited to:



The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to complete all work on painting of all interior walls, and to conduct flooring repair, and to coordinate of furniture removal, as described in scope of work. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract and all works shall comply to the current editions of all applicable codes and standards. This acquisition will require a general contractor with experience and expertise capable of managing numerous task orders at the same time, which will require construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors in a wide variety of construction trades.



Design and installation must comply with NFPA 72, NFPA 70, NFPA 101, IBC, and UFGS 25 05 11, UFC 4-010-06 UFC 3-600-01, UFC 4-021-01, UFC 4-010-01, and all applicable codes and standards.



The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction). The small business size standard is $45.0 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. This requirement will be procured utilizing Sealed Bidding Procedures specified in FAR Part 14.



The government anticipates an award will be made to a responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids; will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price related factors included in the invitation.
